Vacancy: Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineer
Location: District 5

Part of the duties/responsibilities:
-Implement the procurement plan by issuing RFQs, comparing vendors’ offers technically and financially, and ensuring timely delivery in coordination with the site team.
-Review project documents and break down project elements to classify them into procurement packages.
-Evaluate vendor and subcontractor profiles based on the organization’s prequalification criteria to identify the most suitable options.
-Coordinate with the Projects Manager to develop and update the Procurement Schedule.
-Secure the best quality and price within project timelines, and source alternative suppliers or subcontractors as needed.
-Review technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and drawings to identify appropriate vendors and suppliers.
-Prepare comprehensive comparative analysis reports covering technical specifications, pricing, delivery terms, and logistics arrangements.
-Manage the issuance of RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers for all required materials and services.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
– 5-6 years of experience.
