Position Summary:

The Purchasing Manager will oversee all #procurement_activities, supply chain logistics, and vendor management across our restaurant operations. This role is responsible for securing high-quality food, beverage, and packaging items at competitive costs while maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute strategic #purchasing_plans tailored to fresh produce, meat, dairy, dry goods, and equipment requirements for restaurant operations.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers to #secure_optimal_pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: #Analyze market trends, track food cost variance, negotiate bulk volume discounts, and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Collaborate with culinary and operational teams to monitor stock levels, implement #forecasting_models, and minimize spoilage and waste.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased goods comply with strict #food_safety_standards, health regulations, and company specifications.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Executive Chefs, Restaurant Managers, and Finance teams to manage #menu_costings and inventory audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or Senior Procurement Specialist specifically within the Restaurant, Catering, or Hospitality industry.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of F&B supply chains, perishable goods management, shelf-life considerations, and seasonal pricing fluctuations.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, contract management, inventory control, and analytical capabilities.
• Software: Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, Foodics, MC, SAP), and advanced MS Excel.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
