Job Description: Project Sales Engineer (IT System Integration)

1. Role Purpose: The Project Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities in large-scale projects. The primary focus is to secure company approvals with major engineering consultants and contractors to ensure our solutions are specified in upcoming tenders.

2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Registration: Lead the process of registering and approving our company with top-tier consultancy firms (e.g., Shaker, Moharram Bakhoum, ECG, etc.).
  • Business Development: Proactively hunt for new projects in the design or tendering phases and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Consultant Relations: Conduct technical presentations to consultants to influence specifications and promote our IT/System Integration solutions.
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and site visits to technical/commercial proposal submission and closing deals.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with the Procurement team for accurate costing and the Operations team for seamless project handover.

3. Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc. in Engineering (Communications, Computers, or Electrical).
  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Sales within the IT System Integration or Infrastructure industry.
  • Network: An existing, strong network of contacts within major consultancy firms and Main Contractors in Egypt.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM) is a must.
