Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Manage all contract administration for assigned projects, including contract summaries, review comments, and execution activities.

• Calculate, report, and defend potential and actual claims arising from contract review activities.

• Identify, document, and coordinate all project claims and variations from clients, engineering, and the internal supply chain.

• Quote all variations in collaboration with the Commercial Team; obtain management approval for additional or varied works.

• Maintain and update the contract baseline and project plan following client approval of quotations or claims.

• Follow up purchase orders for approved claims and variations; record all LD and back-charge claims in the claims file.

• Prepare justification, arguments, and reasoning to counter client claims and close them cost-effectively with appropriate approvals.

Project Execution and Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end execution of assigned projects in line with contract terms, FPI procedures, processes, and policies — with a focus on maximising client satisfaction.

• Review and approve project schedules, including field activities, ensuring all scope and time requirements are properly addressed.

• Issue Release for Production requests with the required documentation; seek client approval for priced Bills of Quantities.

• Monitor and compare base plan with actual progress; report and escalate delays as required.

• Control the Training Schedule within the project and ensure its alignment with the overall project plan.

• Manage the formal project close-out process, communicating close-out requirements to the organisation and executing contract-specific terms and conditions.

Reporting and Communication

• Agree with the client on the content of Client Project Reports; issue reports on schedule.

• Issue fortnightly internal reports to senior project management.

• Represent FPI in external project meetings; plan meeting agendas, review, sign, and communicate Minutes of Meetings.

• Prepare and distribute visit reports to the line organisation; review reports submitted by others.

• Ensure all project correspondence is properly distributed and escalated in accordance with FPI’s Email Distribution and Escalation Policy.

Risk, NCRs, and Continuous Improvement

• Identify, communicate, and escalate NCRs and lessons learnt in accordance with FPI procedures.

• Control assigned project issues; support and verify the execution and close-out of related improvement actions.

• Facilitate client satisfaction surveys per project and provide project KPIs to support the improvement process.

• Maintain the Client Communication Record File; support timely resolution and closure of client complaints.

Document Control and Records Management

• Set and communicate project document control requirements to the document control team, including distribution matrix, VDRL, and MRB requirements.

• Control the contents of the VDRL and MRB index; verify correct application of procedures across the project team.

• Create, maintain, and archive all project records in accordance with FPI procedure.

HSE

• Participate in QHSE audits and incident reporting; comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times; report unsafe acts, incidents, and safety violations.

Required Qualifications:

· Graduate Degree in Mechanical engineering

· MBA or Masters in a field related to economics, sustainability, or environment is preferred

Preferred Experience:

· Fresh Graduate

· Knowledge of the Company’s products, processes, accreditations, delivery, installation and quality procedures
