About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our Production Department in a growing dairy manufacturing business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production while maintaining quality, food safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities and ensure achievement of production plans.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Production Team.
• Monitor production efficiency, yield, waste, downtime, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
• Monitor dairy production processes from raw milk receiving through processing, filling, and packaging.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor raw material and packaging consumption and minimize production losses.
• Investigate production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper production records, reports, and KPI tracking.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.

🎓 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science, Agricultural/Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Production, preferably in dairy, food, FMCG, or beverage manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor/Manager role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, food safety, production planning, yield, waste reduction, and process control.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in a small or medium-sized manufacturing environment is an advantage.
