Location: Borg El Arab, Alexandria
As part of our continued growth and expansion, Sakr Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function and drive sourcing excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing procurement operations, building strong supplier partnerships, and ensuring the timely availability of materials while achieving cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the company’s procurement strategy in line with business objectives.
• Lead and manage all local and international procurement activities, including supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Build, evaluate, and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term value.
• Ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and operational supplies while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Prepare annual procurement plans and budgets, monitor KPIs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Procurement, including at least 5 years in a Procurement Manager position.
• Proven experience within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry is essential.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and procurement planning.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
