Role Description The Parts Stock Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for monitoring and managing spare parts stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and coordinating stock movements across warehouses and branches. Daily activities include receiving and checking deliveries, updating inventory systems, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies. The Parts Stock Controller collaborates with the sales, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock availability, support order fulfillment, and minimize stock shortages or excess. The role also involves preparing inventory reports, following company procedures, and supporting continuous improvement in stock management processes.
Qualifications
- Strong stock control and stock management skills, with experience handling spare parts or similar inventory.
- Proficiency in inventory control processes, including stock counting, reconciliation, and system updates.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Effective communication skills to work with sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams.
- Experience using inventory or ERP software and good MS Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in automotive, trucking, or industrial parts is Mandatory.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
