We’re Hiring: Material Planning Supervisor!
Elixir Pharma is looking for an experienced Material Planning Supervisor to join our team.
Work Location: El Sadat City, Menoufia.
The key responsibilities of the job would be:
-Develop and manage material planning activities based on production requirements and demand forecasts
-Ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other required materials to support production plans
-Prepare and maintain accurate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and material plans
-Monitor inventory levels, stock coverage, and material consumption to avoid shortages or excess inventory
-Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely material availability
-Follow up on purchase orders and material delivery schedules to ensure alignment with production requirements
-Identify potential material shortages and develop appropriate action plans to minimize production disruptions
-Review and optimize inventory levels while maintaining the required service level
-Prepare and monitor material planning reports and KPIs
-Supervise and support the material planning team to ensure effective execution of daily activities
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
-Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
-4–6 years of experience in material planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
-Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and production planning
-Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
-Strong communication and coordination skills
-Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
-Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
