Job Description

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

1. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) 

• Run MRP through ERP to calculate material requirements. 
• Ensure BOM accuracy and planning parameters setup (MOQ, safety stock, lead time, etc.). 
• Release purchase requisitions and follow with procurement. 

2. Inventory & Material Availability Control 

• Monitor stock levels for consumable & paint materials. 
• Identify potential shortages and propose mitigation plans. 
• Coordinate closely with warehouse for timely replenishment. 
• Attends consumable materials receipt committees at warehouse. 

3. Data Accuracy & ERP Control 

• Maintain planning master data (BOMs, average consumptions, quantities & lead times). 
• Review exceptions and MRP messages (reschedule & cancel). 
• Ensure alignment between physical stock and system stock coordinating with warehouse. 

4. Cross-Functional Coordination 

• Work closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and quality. Support new product introduction material planning & prepare initial stock orders. 

5. Reporting 

• Provide required material availability reports for production plans. 
• Issue shortage lists and follow-up action plans. 
• Present inventory status and risk alerts.
