Logistics Supervisor
Role Description
The Logistics Supervisor is a full-time, on-site position based in Beni Suef, Egypt. The role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all logistics operations, including transportation, shipment coordination, inventory movement, and warehouse activities. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective flow of materials and finished goods while maintaining high service levels and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders, monitoring logistics performance, resolving operational challenges, and implementing process improvements.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain and warehouse operations.
– Proven experience in coordinating shipments, transportation planning, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
– Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
– Experience in the garments manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and oversee logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials, production requirements, and finished goods.
– Coordinate with internal departments and external logistics partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations and business continuity.
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage operational risks, and provide performance reports and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
