Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Reports to: Logistics Manager / Supply Chain Lead
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to add to our team. Your task will be to coordinate the transportation of frozen products from the production plant to the end consumer, thus ensuring that the “cold chain” is never broken. This is the ideal job for a proactive person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and would like to develop expertise in temperature-controlled logistics.
Key Responsibilities
• Shipment Coordination: Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of frozen goods, including pickups and deliveries.
• Documentation: Coordinate necessary documentation, such as Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and health certificates.
• Inventory Oversight: Participate in cycle counts and reconcile inventory to the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Carrier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) companies and refrigerated freight carriers.
• Problem Solving: Respond to delivery issues, equipment breakdowns, or temperature deviations to prevent product loss.
Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in logistics. Experience in frozen/perishable goods is a major plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and exposure to ERP/WMS software.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, ability to work under pressure, and close attention to detail.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of DOT regulations and food safety standards (HACCP/FSMA) is preferred.
