Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination & Execution:
- Review and verify order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and transport partners to follow up on cargo production and loading schedules.
- Arrange and manage transport bookings with freight forwarders and/or carriers, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up on cargo readiness and loading schedules.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare, review, and finalize all shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Submit documentation to shipping lines, banks or authorities as needed (e.g., for Letters of Credit, EUR1, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, country specific customs requirements and Incoterms.
- Maintain accurate records for reporting and audits.
Communication & Client Support:
- Act as a liaison between international internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Keep clients informed on shipment status, expected arrival times, and any disruptions.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide resolutions to logistics-related issues.
- Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); French fluency is a strong asset.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with international shipping documentation and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics platforms or ERP systems is a plus.
