Job Description

• Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with production and sales plans
• Manage inbound and outbound transportation operations
• Ensure timely delivery to customers, distributors, and export markets
• Optimize routing, load planning, and freight utilisation.
• Oversee company fleet.
• Ensure efficient allocation, utilization, and availability of vehicles
• Manage preventive maintenance and repair schedules
• Monitor fuel consumption, driver performance, and vehicle tracking systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and transport regulations
• Manage export shipments from planning to execution
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers
• Ensure accuracy of export documentation (invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.)
• Supervise import/export customs clearance processes
• Resolve clearance issues, delays, or inspections
• Coordinate loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
• Ensure proper handling of paints and hazardous materials
• Align dispatch schedules with delivery plans
• Develop and control logistics budgets
• Negotiate contracts with transporters and logistics service providers
• Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives
• Monitor logistics cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards for handling chemicals and flammable materials
• Enforce safe transport and storage practices
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations
• Manage claims related to damages, losses, or accidents
• Lead logistics, fleet, and dispatch teams
• Set KPIs and manage team performance.
• Drive continuous improvement culture
