About the Job:
The Junior Purchasing is responsible for supporting procurement activities and ensuring the smooth execution of purchasing operations. The role involves managing procurement processes, supplier and vendor relationships, performance monitoring, purchasing cycle reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers until order completion.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and shipping terms.
- Review quotations, customer purchase orders, and profit margins.
- Process payment requests and coordinate with the Finance Department.
- Coordinate with the Logistics Department regarding shipment readiness.
- Monitor suppliers’ statements of account and prioritize payments.
- Prepare and share periodic purchasing reports with relevant departments.
- Follow up on electronic invoices and ensure timely approval or rejection.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, preferably within the IT industries.
- Very good technical background.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
