Location: Downtown Cairo
Colas Rail is looking for a dynamic and motivated Junior Procurement Engineer to join the CML1 Project team based in Downtown Cairo. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking to build their expertise in procurement, supplier management, and project support within a major railway infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services required by the project.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and preparing commercial comparisons.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of project requirements.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation in compliance with company procedures.
- Support vendor evaluation and supplier relationship management activities.
- Participate in market research and cost analysis initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or project environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
