Industrial Procurement Engineer / Specialist At MCV “0experience”

MCV – Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles is looking for an “Industrial Procurement Engineer / Specialist ” to join our team.
📍 Location: Obour

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop local & international suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, capacity, and service.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required materials.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Conduct price comparisons and monitor market prices and supplier benchmarks.
• Track POs, delivery schedules, costs, and material availability through SAP.
• Manage shortage reports and coordinate corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with logistics and follow-up teams on shipments and deliveries.
• Review received materials, resolve discrepancies, and verify supplier invoices against POs and delivery documents.
• Calculate international freight costs and support procurement feasibility assessments.
• Ensure proper banking, shipping, insurance, and customs documentation.
• Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and coordinate with Engineering on specifications, drawings, and deviations.
• Support localization and alternative sourcing, including the technical qualification of new suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships.

🎯 Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; preferably Mechanical (for Engineers) / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (for Specialists).
• 0–3 years of experience in Supply Chain.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
