Role Description
The Foreign Purchasing Specialist is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The specialist will manage procurement processes, issue and manage purchase orders, source and coordinate materials from international suppliers, and ensure compliance with company standards and policies. The role involves monitoring international markets, negotiating with vendors, analyzing costs, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Purchase Orders
- Expertise in Purchase Management and related activities
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess suppliers, evaluate costs, and monitor market trends
- Proficiency in managing international procurement and vendor relations
- Ability to handle documentation related to imports and compliance with local regulations
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
