Foreign Procurement Specialist At Alarabiya “Alex”

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goal
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best
    value and quality for materials and services
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and
    contract management
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely
    delivery of goods and services
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and monitor industry and global
    market trends, including currency fluctuations and material availability
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives and improve procurement efficiency
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and project
    progress to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and legal regulations
  • Coordinate and track international shipments (Air, Sea, and Land)
  • Manage ACI documentation through CargoX and Nafeza for customs clearance
  • Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams to meet operational needs
