Giza Power is looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Procurement Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to major Electrical & Infrastructure Projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and issue RFQs for electrical materials, equipment, and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on technical and commercial requirements.
• Evaluate technical & commercial offers in coordination with the Engineering team.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, standards, and approved requirements.
• Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance departments.
• Maintain and develop an updated supplier database.
• Conduct market research and price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in Electrical Procurement / Purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and specifications.
• Experience in Electrical Contracting, Construction, or Infrastructure Projects is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent follow-up, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
