Domestic Procurement Specialist At Nawah Scientific

Job Brief We’re seeking for a Domestic Procurement Specialist to execute end-to-end domestic procurement of goods and services (office supplies, lab equipment, uniforms, catering tools, and other non-scientific assets) under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager. Ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely deliveries, and compliance with company policies while supporting the Supply Chain Manager in local vendor management and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Job Description Procurement Execution

  • Conduct market research to identify and pre-qualify domestic vendors for routine operational purchases.
  • Process purchase requisitions and convert to official POs after Supply Chain Manager approval.
  • Maintain procurement tracker with order status, delivery dates, and payment terms.
  • Coordinate with receiving teams to verify deliveries against PO specifications.

Vendor Management Support

  • Conduct market research to identify and pre-qualify domestic vendors for routine operational purchases
  • Process purchase requisitions and convert to official POs after Supply Chain Manager approval
  • Maintain procurement tracker with order status, delivery dates, and payment terms

Operational Support

  • Conduct weekly inventory checks for high-usage operational items
  • Prepare monthly procurement reports including cost analysis
  • Implement approved cost-saving initiatives

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all purchases follow company approval policies
  • Maintain organized records of all procurement transactions
  • Support audit processes with required documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in domestic procurement or supply chain management.
  • Very Good command of both written and spoken in English.
  • Experience with purchase order systems.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address sourcing and logistics challenges.

Nice to have

  • Procurement certification.
  • Familiarity with procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
