Fleet operations Specialist At 7R’s Logistics

7R’s Logistics is looking for a Fleet Operations Specialist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transportation operations and ensure smooth fleet movement according to the operational plan.
• Plan, organize, and assign trips to drivers to ensure on-time delivery and maximum operational efficiency.
• Monitor fleet movement and ensure transportation tasks are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and update daily and weekly schedules for drivers and vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with assigned routes and delivery timelines while minimizing delays and operational issues.
• Handle urgent operational issues, including breakdowns, delays, and unexpected changes, while maintaining workflow continuity.
• Coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure vehicle readiness, including maintenance, insurance, licensing, and technical inspections.
• Prepare operational performance reports covering trips, punctuality, operating costs, fuel consumption, and breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Monitor fuel consumption and operational expenses while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support and coordinate with drivers and transportation staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation operations, fleet management, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of fleet scheduling, route planning, and delivery operations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational challenges efficiently.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Previous experience in a transportation or logistics company is a plus.
