Logistics Specialist At Lufian “Alex”

Lufian is hiring a “Logistics specialist” to be part of our team.
Location: Alexandria – Amaria Free Zone.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate import and export shipments from order placement until final delivery.
– Communicate daily with overseas and local suppliers regarding shipment schedules and required documentation.
– Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearance.
– Prepare, review, and follow up on shipping documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin, and other customs documents.
– Follow up with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transportation providers.
– Ensure compliance with Free Zone regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
– Coordinate with internal departments (Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, Finance, and Production) to support business operations.
– Track shipment status and resolve any logistics or customs-related issues.
– Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare periodic shipment reports.
– Monitor shipping costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
– Handle communication with customs authorities and other governmental entities when required.

✅ Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
– 3–5 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or customs operations within a manufacturing company.
– Previous experience working in a Private Free Zone is highly preferred.
– Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
– Experience coordinating with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping companies.
– Good command of English (written and spoken).
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
– Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
– knowledge on Nafeza & ACID creation.
