Job Title: Senior Mechanical Tendering Specialist (Power Plants)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Tendering Specialist to join our team, with a strong background in power plant projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full tendering cycle, preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals, and supporting business growth in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and submission of mechanical tenders for power plant projects.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure full compliance.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather required inputs.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals.
- Conduct risk assessment and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers during the tendering phase.
- Support contract negotiations and handover to the project execution team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in tendering, with a focus on power plants.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in power generation (e.g., turbines, boilers, piping).
- Proven experience in preparing technical and commercial bids.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tendering/estimation tools.
