About the role
Prometeon Tyre Group is looking for a motivated and results-driven Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team in Alexandria.
This role will support strategic sourcing and procurement operations, ensuring the availability of materials and services while optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive purchasing efficiency, cost competitiveness, and continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Support in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Operations
• Conduct market scouting and strategic sourcing to identify, assess, and validate competitive suppliers.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including purchase orders, supplier negotiations, and long-term contract agreements.
• Lead sourcing activities to optimize purchasing conditions, costs, and supplier performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services while monitoring stock levels and mitigating supply risks.
• Oversee supplier performance, vendor ratings, and contract compliance to support procurement excellence.
• Prepare procurement analyses and reports, while following up on all operational purchasing activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between procurement activities and business requirements.
Support in Supplier Performance & Continuous Improvement
• Drive cost optimization and value creation initiatives through effective sourcing strategies.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement projects related to procurement and supplier management.
• Strengthen supplier relationships while ensuring quality, service, and operational efficiency standards are achieved.

Requirements
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar Procurement/Buying role is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Commerce (MBA is an advantage).
• Alexandria residency is a must.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is a must.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret data effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines with accurate and well-structured work.
• Familiarity with SAP-EBP system is a plus.
• Ability to prepare accurate and organized reports.
