We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior MEP Tender and Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior MEP Tender and Procurement Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring successful project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of construction processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the MEP commercial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost plans.
- Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders and bids.
- Negotiate contracts and POs terms, conditions, and pricing with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial issues and disputes.
- Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5:7 years of experience in Tender and Procurement within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and financial management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., PRMG, PMP, MBA) is a plus.
