We are looking for a highly organized Material Planning Engineer with a strong background in Production to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Sheet Metal & Metal Forming to ensure seamless material flow and inventory accuracy.Core Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control: Manage raw materials (sheets, coils) and consumables to ensure zero production halts.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Translate production plans into precise material orders and delivery schedules.
- Production Liaison: Work closely with the production floor to monitor material consumption rates and minimize scrap.
- Supplier Coordination: Follow up with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate stock records and report on inventory turnover and material variances.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4–7 years in Material Planning (Experience as a Production Engineer is a major plus).
- Industry: Must have experience in Sheet Metal / Metal Forming factories.
- Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel; strong analytical mindset.
