We’re Hiring | Senior Purchasing Specialist
Location: El Guezira Plaza Zayed
DCUD is seeking a results-driven Senior Purchasing Specialist to manage and optimize procurement activities across our real estate projects. This role is ideal for a professional with strong negotiation skills, solid supplier management experience, and a proven background in real estate or construction procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the full procurement cycle for materials, services, and subcontractors
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders in line with company policies
• Ensure timely delivery of materials in coordination with project and site teams
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and availability to support procurement decisions
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgets, and approval matrices
• Coordinate with Finance for invoice matching, payment terms, and cost control
• Support project teams with material planning and procurement schedules
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in real estate or construction
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and cost control
• Experience with ERP systems (construction/real estate ERP is a plus)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
