Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Procurement & Logistics Specialist with strong market awareness and international sourcing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing procurement operations, coordinating with planning and logistics teams, and driving cost-effective sourcing strategies in alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities Market & Supplier Research:

  • Conduct market research across local and international markets as assigned by the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers; support supplier mapping and cross-trading initiatives within the group.
  • Monitor market trends, innovations, and competitor activities relevant to packaging and raw materials.

Procurement Coordination

  • Collaborate with the planning and logistics teams to place, track, and manage purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update supplier information and contract details in the ERP system.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement in sourcing processes and cost optimization.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Create and maintain supplier and customer data, including accurate address and contact information.
  • Compile sales and purchasing data, perform statistical analyses, and prepare regular reports for leadership.
  • Communicate market intelligence and procurement performance updates to the Regional Manager and other stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance

  • Adhere to the Quality Assurance system and contribute to the development of procedures and internal controls.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and sustainability goals.

Candidate Requirements Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement and/or logistics, preferably in an industrial or packaging environment.
  • Experience in local and international sourcing, and a strong understanding of supplier management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, learning-oriented attitude.
