Looking for a Freight Dispatcher | Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and loads in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery and provide real-time updates
- Communicate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and resolve any issues on the road
- Coordinate with customers, brokers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations
- Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times
- Maintain accurate records of loads, routes, and driver logs
- Handle unexpected situations such as delays, breakdowns, or changes in scheduling
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with dry vans and reefers
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with TMS (Transportation Management Systems)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
