Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in managing the procurement needs for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction procurement, vendor management, and material planning.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the procurement process for construction projects.
Prepare purchase requests and ensure timely supply of materials and equipment.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and approvals.
Collaborate with project teams to forecast material requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.
Monitor and report on procurement KPIs and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement within the construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and vendor management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software.
