Job Description
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities to meet project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure optimal procurement deals.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate material procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent supply and resolve any issues.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and specifications.
- Track and report on procurement activities, budgets, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and project launches.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
