Director – Distribution (Pharmaceutical)Job Summary:

The Operations Director – Distribution is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end distribution operations of pharmaceutical products, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery across all channels.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all distribution and logistics operations across warehouses and delivery networks.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDP – Good Distribution Practices).
• Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy, and demand planning.
• Monitor KPIs such as delivery timelines, order accuracy, and operational costs.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and distributors.
• Ensure proper cold chain management for temperature-sensitive products.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Regulatory departments.
• Lead, coach, and develop operations and warehouse teams.
• Implement process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
• Handle risk management, including supply disruptions and operational challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in operations or supply chain.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within pharmaceutical distribution.
