Duties and responsibilities:
- Lay out work plans and allocate storage spaces for clients according to store occupancy rates.
- Contribute to writing customer work instructions, if necessary, in coordination with operations.
- Allocate warehouse personnel to clients based on their experience and business needs.
- Conduct technical interviews for applicants of open vacancies.
- Follow up on warehouse operations and inventory management, whether daily or quarterly inventories, and monitor offers, productivity, quality, and profitability.
- Provide internal support between teams assigned to different clients to overcome obstacles.
- Conduct tours inside the store to ensure compliance with standards for operations, safety, occupational health, and quality.
- Ensure employees’ commitment to implementing the company’s general instructions or specific operating instructions for each client, if they exist.
- Follow up on daily challenges and work to find quick solutions that directly improve work methods and positively impact daily productivity.
- Request store needs such as stretch wrap, tape, and stationery quarterly or as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a successful and safe workflow.
- Follow up and coordinate with the Human Resources Department regarding the recruitment of external workers and determine the required numbers according to business needs.
- Attend new and existing customer meetings inside and outside the company.
- Follow up on monthly closing procedures and ensure data is ready to issue invoices to customers through the relevant department.
- Ensure the accuracy of reports sent by the team and the overall quality of work.
- Submit the annual promotions plan to top management.
- Limit overtime, except at the request of clients and at their expense
Qualification and Certificates:
- Educational degree preferable in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in 3PL warehousing and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Strategic planning and thinking.
- Strong problem-solving skills
