Warehouse Manager At Green Modeling Contracting

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Cairo, Egypt. The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including stock control, inventory management, and ensuring efficient workflow. Responsibilities also include maintaining safe and organized working conditions, operating forklifts, and coordinating with other departments to meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all construction materials, tools, and equipment. Implement and oversee a robust system for tracking inbound and outbound materials.
• Logistics & Distribution: Plan and coordinate the efficient delivery of materials and equipment to various construction sites. Optimize logistics to reduce transportation costs and prevent project delays.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff. Foster a safe and productive work environment by setting clear goals and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company safety protocols and local regulations. Implement procedures for the safe handling of heavy equipment and hazardous materials.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, material usage, and logistics performance for senior management.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse management role, with at least 5 years specifically in the construction. Experience managing a high volume of diverse inventory is required.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
• Proven experience in logistics and supply chain optimization.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
