Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Supply Chain Supervisor role located in Alexandria, Egypt. The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations related to inventory management. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Distribution Supervisor to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves managing vehicle logistics, warehouse performance, inventory, and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between warehouses and the factory while tracking key performance metrics and maintaining operational efficiency. This position requires 30% travel time between warehouses and the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and monitor drivers and warehouse keepers’ performance and follow-ups.
• Oversee inbound receiving and returns from the factory based on agreed orders.
• Manage goods allocation across multiple warehouses to ensure balanced inventory distribution.
• Monitor and maintain optimal cover stock levels to prevent overstocking or stock outs.
• Receive and interpret monthly sales forecasts for both retail and online channels to inform inventory planning.
• Maintain clear communication channels between warehouses and the factory to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
• Travel approximately 30% of the time between warehouses and the factory to oversee operations, ensure alignment, and address on-ground challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics and optimize operations.
• Proficiency Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage warehouse staff and collaborate with factory teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as required.
