- Examining supply chain procedures and suggesting changes to boost effectiveness or reduce costs.
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, rules, and regulations in the areas of security, preservation of the environment, etc.
- Predictions of client demand are examined to decide the quantity and timing of supply.
- Analysing data on inventory levels at present to spot potential shortages or excesses.
- keeping in touch with suppliers to make sure they can deliver goods on schedule and in accordance with quality requirements.
- Preparing reports on supply chain tasks such distribution analysis, cost analysis, feasibility studies, etc.
- Maintaining a close eye on inventory levels and placing orders for more supplies as needed or selling extra stock to prevent running out of supply.
- Coordinating the procurement for the manufacture of goods or services through agreements with suppliers.
- Choosing the most efficient way to move items between locations while taking time constraints and costs into account.
- Analyse different data to identify needs, gaps, and recommend improvement areas.
- Support internal stakeholders with demand data analysis, risk assessments, and mitigation activities.
- Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent
- CSCP certificate is preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the field of Supply Chain specially Planning/Warehousing & Logistics
- Advance Excel skills & hands on in using other SAP systems, Tolls like Tableau / Power BI etc.
