JOB OPPORTUNITY: SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

We’re looking for a brilliant Supply Chain Planner for our fast-growing Garment Brand – Breathe.

Job Scope:

The planner will play a crucial role to ensure optimum supply chain continuity. He/she will be responsible for placing purchase orders and delivery schedules to suppliers and ensure deliveries are received at the right time with the right quantities. The planner will arrange for the transportation from suppliers to our factory. The planner is the direct contact person for manufacturing team and is the link between manufacturing & commercial teams. The planner sets inventory targets for the materials and is responsible to agree on the minimum order quantity with suppliers and optimize it as much as possible. The planner is expected to come up with cost saving ideas (Transportation cost reduction, change of packaging, raw material usage savings, alternative suppliers, etc..). The planner needs to follow with the F&A department to ensure payment is done on time to suppliers. The supply chain planner is responsible for the weekly production plan and align it with all stakeholders and follow up on the execution.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Issue materials purchase orders to suppliers
2. Set inventory targets & Safety Stocks.
3. Share material forecast with suppliers.
4. Track deliveries and transportation and ensure on time deliveries.
5. Ensure Suppliers Payment is done On Time.
6. Find out saving ideas in the materials (alternative suppliers/transportation cost reduction/change of package/etc…)
7. Handles rejections and off quality materials returns to suppliers.
8. Track, report and improve supplier performance.
9. Develop weekly production plans and share it with the manufacturing team and follow up on execution.
10. Track factory performance and adherence Vs production plan.

Minimum Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in business administration, Accounting, or similar degree.
▪ 2 to 4 years of experience in material planning.
▪ Good English Language Skills Spoken and Written.
▪ Microsoft Office advanced user especially Excel.
▪ Excellent analytical skills.
▪ Strong Leadership and communication skills.

++ Preferred Qualification
▪ Production Planning Experience.
▪ Garment Industry Experience.
▪ Export Logistics Experience or Air Freight Experience.
▪ Oddo ERP System Experience.
▪ Heliopolis or Nasr City Resident.
