Supply Chain Planner At Xylem



Basic Duties and Responsibilities: –

  • Planning Process(Demand/ Supply) 80%:
  • Consolidate submitted Demand FCST for Export/ Domestic markets
  • Proactively review submitted FCST compared with TRGT and AVG
  • Review and calculate stock equation to ensure domestic healthy stock (Sanity checks)
  • Prepare required supply plan with respect to stock level
  • Consolidate Export/ Domestic market FCST and confirmed Export/ Domestic sales orders 10%
  • Prepare monthly required production (Export/ Domestic) for EGY plant 15%
  • Review production delivery plan (Master plan) and Communicate required production priorities
  • Co-ordinate between Sales support team and Production to manage priorities (Finite schedule)
  • Follow up on production execution till WH re-adjust plan and report risks 20%
  • Lead the S&OP process 10%
  • Monthly track/ review/ report Demand FCST accuracy
  • Prepare and Send 12 month rolling FCST to all suppliers (Local/ Import)
  • Import Process 20%:
  • Execute PO process from affliates and Import suppliers on monthly basis and follow up with shipping operation (availability, ETD & ETA till recivingthe receival of goods at the warehouses).
  • Input all Egypt plant market PO on SAP
  • Follow up on the delivery schedule of goods to the warehouse.
  • Reporting:
  • Update FCST analysis tool/ FCST review meeting with DMs – Monthly (5th of each month)
  • Production M+1 requirment + 12 month rolling FCST report – Monthly (15th of the month).
  • Report production availability/ Plan to Export or domestic markets – begining of each month
  • Weekly production delivery tracking – weekly. 1 day + 1 hr weekly
  • Month closing report (Demand/Supply accuracy/ closing inventory balance)
  • Consolidate the Import shipments details and follow up on the process as per the standard operationg procedures manual.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS(Minimal experience, essential skills & abilities, required certification)

  • 5 Years Proven experience in Planning and production scheduling
  • Hands-on Leading S&OP programs

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Engineering (preferred)
  • Completed Degree / Diploma in business, logistics, supply chain or related field.
  • CPIM / APICS Related Qualification

  • Must: Proficiency in SAP ERP including MRP and Master Data
  • Strong Analytical skills with key focus on details
  • Sound time-management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess continuous improvement mindset.
  • A good team player with good analytical thinking, meticulous and follow up skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work multi tasks and under minimal supervision.
