Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and providing operational support and guidance to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to provide an effective supply chain management
• Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes
• Develop supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency
• Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
• Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
• Qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
• Train and mentor employees, including reinforcement of safety guidelines
• Optimize warehouse functions
• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain
• Develop and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory
• Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production
• Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
• Performs other related duties as assigned
