Supply Chain Manager
You will be reporting to General Manager and will be responsible overseeing and managing the overall supply chain and logistics operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity, play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with all MNC’s by delivering the target OTIF and highest service level score.
Responsibilities
- Manages and oversees overall supply chain activities, including purchasing and inventory as well as selection of vendors.
- Manages and supervises staff responsible for achieving the company’s supply chain requirements.
- Develop, maintain and improve healthy and professional relationship with all MNC’s
- Ensure the full usage of SAP to improve productivity, efficiency, and control
- Driving supply planning operations to meet business goals around customer service, inventory turns, warehousing space and supply chain costs.
- Participating in and driving the success of the overall S&OP Process.
- Developing strong relationships & processes with both customers and suppliers to achieve a tightly integrated, high performance supply chain
- Working on reducing inventories without affecting availability by improving the inventory parameters i.e. lead-time, supply reliability etc
- Evaluating supplier performance and influencing sourcing decisions accordingly
- Develop, maintain and improve the service level agreements with MNC’s
- Ensuring continuous development and training to the staff.
- Support the team work cross all sub functions in supply chain
- Conduct the periodic performance appraisal
- Documentation and updating of all supply planning process.
- Ensuring that the demand process is properly followed and communicating forecast accuracy to the customer.
- Ensuring that the planning team is issuing production plans that guarantee highest customer service with the lowest inventories and optimum production schedule.
- Ensuring availability of material for production.
- Ensuring that customer service team is following the defined process and delivering the highest level of customer services.
- Defining the optimum raw and packing materials safety stock.
- Ensuring all remnant and obsolete materials are written off, changed to the right account and disposed of accordingly
- Working with suppliers to improve their delivery reliability by having service level agreements and having buffer stocks at the suppliers’ side.
- Owning and updating service level agreements with customers
- Defining warehousing needs for each customer and updating these needs quarterly.
- Tracking and analyzing missed cases and implementing action plans to resolve the basic causes.
- Reporting KPIs and GAP analysis for outages
- Investigating and responding to all customer complaints
Qualifications
- Degree in any discipline preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of supply chain techniques essential
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment.
