Responsibilities:
- Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization.
- Forecasting and planning raw materials requirements on quarterly and yearly basis
- Liaising with various departments (Production, commercial, finance) to develop a solid operating mechanism with well-structured procedures.
- Manage suppliers’ relation and Manufacturing Planning (SOP to ensure material planning match’s demand.
- Oversee purchasing’s negotiation with suppliers & vendors locally and internationally, securing best terms for the company.
- Analyze data to find bottlenecks and implement ideal solutions and process improvements in a timely manner.
- Determine key supply chain KPI, evaluate and report.
- Reduce inventory value and increase terns.
- Evaluating risks to supply chains and suppliers as well as troubleshooting issues in the chain.
- Managing activities related to planning, purchasing, inventory control, warehousing and logistics.
- Develop and implement the company’s overall supply chain strategy in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders in the supply chain.
- Oversee and manage inventory and demand planning to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to customers.
- Manage transportation and logistics operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee and manage the purchasing function, including the negotiation of contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- Develop and implement supply chain risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of the supply chain operation.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Restructure Supply chain organization with the right talents
- Mentor, guide, and coach direct reports in order to expand their capabilities and performance. Provide ongoing performance feedback. Identify and take appropriate action for Poor performers.
- Ensure each employee has a clear and thorough understanding of their role and responsibilities. Collaborate with human resources to keep job descriptions current for each position.
- Responsible for providing leadership to the team and ensuring that the team has the talent, resources, and readiness to meet short and long-term organizational goals as well as ensuring maximum productivity and performance
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team to meet the company goals.
Perform any other related job duties as requested by Direct Manager
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in SCM and 10 years’ experience in a management or leadership capacity.
- Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.
Other Skills:
- knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines
- In-depth knowledge of data analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and oral Arabic and English
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Six Sigma, lean, Kaisen
