Supply Chain director
-Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory as well as selection of vendors.
-Manages and supervises staff responsible for achieving the company’s supply chain requirements.
-Develops and oversees the Procurement function for materials, supplies, equipment and products needed by the company.
-Work closely with suppliers and vendors to improve operations and reduce cost.
-Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
-Ensure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior Management
-Ensures supplies meet quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements and initiates proper action when supplies’ quality or incompliance deficiencies are identified.
-Oversees the implementation of the inventory management strategies to ensure continuity of supply to the factory.
-Develops and implements strategies to effectively manage the different aspects of the supply chain, which include sourcing, procurement, purchasing, logistics, warehousing and distribution as well as handling imports.
-Improves supplier performance with respect to product delivery and quality while keeping acquisition cost, transportation cost at a minimum.
-Develops and performs assessment of supply chain processes, research on alternative approaches and cost/benefit/risk analysis.
-Participate in existing and new projects planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support project launches.
-Ensures all processes of suppliers’ contacts and proposals are compliant with the company’s code of business ethics and standards.
-Assures timely distribution of materials or requested products to support each business unit.
-Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
-Manages and controls department budget

-Degree: – Accounting , Business Management
-FMCG industry is a MUST
-Familiarity with business and financial principles (budgeting and forecasting)
-Risk management. – Planning – MBA-Supply Chain major
