About the job

  • Manage inventory levels of Raw material and packaging to guarantee the execution of the Production Plan without interruptions
  • Work Closely with the rest of SC divisions
  • Review inventory levels of finished goods & RW, PK materials with the SC head to guarantee a smooth execution of the Demand Plan to fulfill market needs in a timely manner
  • Develop minimum – maximum inventory level of all products and be able to align levels with peaks and troughs in demand
  • Highly Experience with data analysis and report writing
  • Prepare all weekly/Monthly/yearly reports and discuss developments and key findings with SCM
  • Develop an open channel with the procurement/purchasing specialists and provide support in assessing suppliers’ responses and lead times
  • Participate in Inventory check process as planned (Quarterly, Semiannual, annual)
  • Build the production plan to ensure that the Demand plan is fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Develop the factory plan on the short term (monthly) and long term with SCM
  • Ensure the FG (Finished Goods) stock levels and quantity availability as per the agreed plan and boundaries by monitoring the daily stock levels and weekly actual production
  • Identify and calculating risks & opportunities for supply planning through attend demand and supply meetings to ensure all risks and opportunities are correctly captured and communicated for the med-long term horizons
  • Cooperate with the Sales operations teams (Retail, Distribution, Modern Trade) to develop a demand forecast on the short term (monthly)
  • Work on developing its accuracy based on base business trends, seasonal and promotional plans
  • Analyze historical sales data and future plans to achieve continuous improvement in the accuracy of the demand plan
  • Development & Automation of planning related reports to provide visibility on short/long term Impact & enable decision makers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business- Supply Chain Management, or Related Field
  • +5 years in Planning positions, with minimum 3 years proven previous experience in Planning in the manufacturing industry, with exposure to short lead- time, high volume manufacturing environment
  • APIC, CPIM certified is reputable plus
  • Expert in Excel
  • Excellent user of ERP systems- SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is preferable
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and data visualization
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-up ownership of resolution
  • Good written and verbal communicator
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (Writing & Oral)
