What You’ll Do
- Lead issuance of the Importation Licenses of imported products
- Implement the process of completing the Custom Release Logistics and providing the approval documents to the shipping company for custom release
- Handle the whole release process of shipments according to EDA regulations
- Prepare for EDA inspection visits and attend it with EDA inspectors
- Submit NODCAR samples with continuous follow up until final release of sampled batches from EDA
- Ensure stores have enough stock and monitor stock levels on weekly basis
- Coordinate the ordering and packaging process through shipping mails with supplying sites
- Review all shipping documents received from supplying site prior to Greenlight
- Lead all aspects of arrival of shipments and tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination in a way that is efficient and sustainable
- Ensure registered shelf life and good storage conditions of products are maintained throughout supply, using systems for cold chain products and shelf life tracking
- Periodic checks are done to audit good services at the distributor regarding good storage & handling practices
- Download Temperature monitors coming with shipments and assessment of their reports as per the approved and registered storage conditions of products
- Collaborate internally within Supply Chain department, Finance, Sales, Inventory and Quality as well as global Supply Chain departments to secure timely and qualitative Supply Chain process flow
- Maintain high standards of performance under pressure
- Manage free medical sample store as a pharmacist manager
- Field visits (almost 60%) to Egyptian Drug Authority “EDA”, other governmental pharmaceutical entities & AZ warehouse in 6th of October
- Build interpersonal inclusion through self-awareness, developing curiosity, active listening, and strengthening team and peer inclusion
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Pharma commercial / Science background
- Completed the government assignment (Takleef) or one year experience in retail pharmacy with supported documents
- EDA experience is preferred
