Job Title: Storekeeper
Department: Warehouses

Location: Location: 10th of Ramadan, Sharkia, Egypt (On-site)
Job Summary
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials, spare parts, production supplies, and finished goods. The role ensures strict adherence to storage standards, inventory accuracy, safety regulations, while supporting production continuity and minimizing material wastage. The Storekeeper acts as the custodian of inventory records, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and ensures all stock transactions are executed in compliance with company policies and ERP/warehouse systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all types of warehouses (raw materials, finished products, production supplies, spare parts) in compliance with industrial standards.
- Organize all receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance activities while strictly following quality and safety procedures.
- Apply FIFO / LIFO / FEFO inventory methods and optimize storage practices to reduce waste and losses.
- Operate and maintain ERP systems and inventory management software while preparing accurate reports for management.
- Perform regular inventory counts (cycle counting), analyze discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards and safe storage requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Quality departments to ensure smooth material flow.
- Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency using Lean Warehousing.
- Contribute to cost reduction through efficient space utilization and management of slow-moving items.
Qualifications Required:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in managing industrial warehouses (preferably in plastics or similar industries).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with safety standards, handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and warehouse layout principles.
- Excellent analytical skills to prepare accurate reports and support management decisions.
- Highly organized and committed to procedures, with the ability to work under pressure.
