Job Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for optimizing and managing supply chain processes, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality in the TUL manufacturing process while ensuring on-time delivery of products to market.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Operations & Planning

  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
  • Oversee demand planning, procurement, and supplier coordination to ensure production schedules align with business needs.
  • Monitor and manage TUL manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely product delivery.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between vendors, manufacturers, and distribution centers.
  • Implement and maintain KPIs to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with raw material suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, service levels, and reliability.
  • Evaluate and qualify new suppliers to support business growth and innovation.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Work closely with logistics teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing costs and transit times.
  • Ensure compliance with international and local trade regulations related to cosmetics and beauty products.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and other relevant cosmetics industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain processes with overall business objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications (APICS, CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry. Experience with TUL manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Proficiency in supply chain analytics, demand planning, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and global supply chain regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
