Job brief
Handle the entire purchasing process for Nawah’s pharmaceutical division, both domestically and internationally, with a focus on research materials, equipment, and services related to the Pharma division. Ensure timely acquisition of high-quality resources at the most competitive prices, ensuring support for our employees in their work.
Job responsibilities
- Handle the procurement process, from vendor selection and contract negotiation to issuing purchase orders and receiving goods and services.
- Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and implement sourcing strategies with effective planning and forecasting.
- Resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely deliveries, including overseeing logistics functions such as customs, freight, and documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the alignment of procurement strategies with project goals, budgets, and material needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends to improve procurement and purchasing processes and ensure access to the latest technologies.
Job requirements:
Must to have
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or veterinary or Pharmacy.
- Not less than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing and procurement (preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment).
- Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage vendor relationships (both domestic and international).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- ERP experience, preferably with Odoo.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with procurement software or tools.
