Senior Purchasing Specialist (Head Office)

Job Description

-Receive the PR (Purchase Requisition) from the concerned department and ensure that it is approved and signed by the concerned manager Review the PR to make sure that all the specifications are mentioned and gather the missing information when needed Contact several suppliers.
– Get price offers and compare between them in terms of some factors including price, quality, time of delivery, …etc
-Place the Purchase Order with the chosen supplier and get all the documents needed to complete the process Negotiate with the supplier to reach the optimum price with the required specifications.
– Follow up on the delivery of the needed items to the site on time Create a status report on a weekly basis in order to send it to the project in details to keep track of the materials’ delivery Improve the database of suppliers for the company.
Skills
1. Bachelor degree in Commerce or any relevant major.
2. 4 – 7 Years of experience.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
4. Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
5. Construction background is a must.

7. Job Role Purchasing and Procurement Years of Experience Min: 4 Max: 7Conduct product research and source new suppliers and vendors,Source materials, goods, products, and services and negotiate the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
8. Perform inventory inspections and reorder supplies and stock as necessary.
9. Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
10. Inspect stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
11. Update and maintain records of all orders and receiving stock.
12. Coordinate with the delivery team and follow up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
13. Attend product launches and network with industry professionals.
14. Establish professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or any relevant field.
• 4 plus years of experience in a similar position.
• Able to follow client specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office.
