Main tasks
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers and joining the sourcing committee of selection
- Liaising with internal project LC teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns
- Contract review and annex update of new prices based on annual review
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings
- Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory cost and procurement records
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Settlement with IDA export value of LC suppliers invoices to ensure no cost impact
- Assure all payment to LC suppliers on time and issue all necessary payment order without any delay with full coordination with other involved departments.
- Assessing all cost elements and drive the negotiation with supplier to achieve annual budget of LC part price target
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Technical knowledge: Reasonable know-how of local content, price structure, cost elements and automotive feeding industry in Egypt (suppliers, management, projects and regulations)
