JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Procurement Services Specialist at Azadea’s Business Services is responsible for supporting the diverse activities related to non-merchandise procurements, ensuring the provision of an effective function to business units.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement sourcing strategies to support the corporate and divisional objectives and provide recommendations on item/services for procurement to maintain the company’s competitive edge. – Manage and negotiate small category contracts under guidance. – Collate and analyze data to generate routine reports, schedules, proposals, summaries and letters. – Monitor and supervise the end of month closing tasks performed by the procurement team. – Establish and optimize a consolidated supplier base, analyzing it to fulfil current and future commodity needs and enhance mutually beneficial longterm partnerships with suppliers. – Monitor consumables’ inventory levels, analyze users’ purchasing patterns to minimize expenses, establish monitoring controls and address issues related to supply orders. – Perform continuous research to identify new potential suppliers and remain up to date on new products and market trends.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Language Proficiency – Fluency in English. – Fluency in French is a plus.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in MS Office, “MACROS” and all Windows formulas applications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Four to six years of experience in a similar role.
